Harry Potter the Exhibition [Spoiler]
Yesterday, I went to the Harry Potter Exhibition in Cologne with my boyfriend. I was super excited and really impressed how everything was arranged! If you want to see the exhibition by yourself, I suggest you not to read this post!
When we arrived I was really sobering, if you wanted to borrow a audio guide, you had to pay 5€! We already paid nearly 30€ per ticket and I would’ve thought that a audio guide would be included…it wasn’t that big kind of a deal, because I already know a lot of things about the set.
In the first room, was a really nice woman dressed as a witch with the soirtung hat who sorted us in our houses. Then we went into a room, with eight screens where we saw some highlights from every movie an I had so many goosebumps because it was so super emotional! ;3; The last thing we saw was the Hogwarts Express and then a big light was floating the room! When I turned around I saw the Hogwarts Express (I forgot to took a picture but omg, it was so amazing!) and another woman who guided us to the Gryffindor common room! I nearly cried, because it felt so magical, everything felt and looked like I was in a Harry Potter movie!
The exhibition was splitted in four parts, The Gryffindor common room, Hagrid’s Hut, the Villains and the The Great Hall!
At the end was a little shop with a lot of merchandise BUT everything was super super super expensive. I planned to buy some things for myself, like a scarf and a wand but in the end I only bought a Ravenclaw scarf. The scarf was 27€ and the wand would’ve been 45€! The Marauder’s Map costs 37€ and a mug 20€. Even the choclate frogs and the Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour Beans were a lot pricier than in England.
If you don’t mind the high prices this exhibition is really perfect and wonderful! If you’re a fan you really should visit it!
